If you are interested in the beauty industry, this won’t be the first time you hear about Microblading. This term has been around for almost a decade and is still a very popular topic. Today, I hope to add or remind a little of information that to me is worth knowing if you are planning on getting microblading.
Firstly, not to mistake, Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing technique used to enhance the appearance of eyebrows. It involves using a special tool that has many small needles combined like a very small blade to create tiny, hair-like strokes on the skin. These strokes are filled in with a proper pigment to make the brows look fuller and more defined. The purpose of microblading is to create customized hair-like tattoo on the eyebrow which results from lots of crispy lines from lots of small cuts performed by artist. If clients have oily skin or not suitable skin conditions, it is difficult to achieve consistent and fine lines, so that microblading is not the best option for these clients. No microblading or brow tattoo in general should be performed on pregnant or breast-feeding women.
The process of microblading starts with numbing the area with a cream or gel to minimize discomfort. Then, the microblading technician uses the tool to carefully make small, very shallow cuts on the first layer of the skin, following the natural shape of the eyebrows. They use different strokes to mimic the look of real eyebrow hairs. After that, the pigmented ink is applied to the cuts, giving the brows a more defined and fuller look. The end results is more natural compared to other regular eyebrow tattoo, if performed on the right skin type and condition. After-care is also crucial to achieve optimal result since UV ray and activities during skin healing period can affect 50% of the final result. So please make sure you read the after-care instruction carefully.

There are many factors that make result varies by clients: lifestyle, skin type, health condition,…
